POSITION SUMMARY
The Warehouse and Inventory Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, managing inventory accuracy, and ensuring efficient distribution of goods. This role involves coordinating warehouse staff, implementing inventory control procedures, and optimizing storage solutions to maintain operational efficiency. The supervisor will also work closely with other departments to ensure timely fulfillment of orders and adherence to company policies and safety regulations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of warehouse staff, ensuring productivity and adherence to safety protocols.
- Implement and maintain an inventory program that maintains accurate inventory levels.
- Conduct and facilitate regular stock audits and cycle counts and work with warehouse staff and management to resolve discrepancies.Â
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and organization of goods to prevent damage and optimize space utilization.
- Train, motivate, and evaluate warehouse staff, providing performance feedback and addressing any issues.
- Coordinate with other departments (e.g., sales, customer service, procurement) to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Develop and implement operational procedures for order picking, packaging, and shipping to improve efficiency.
- Monitor the use and maintenance of warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, ensuring proper operation and safety.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations, conducting regular safety inspections and addressing concerns.
- Prepare and review daily/weekly reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and any operational issues.
- Assist with the recruitment and onboarding of new warehouse staff.

- Warehouse Operations Knowledge – Understanding of shipping, receiving, storage, and order fulfillment processes.
- ERP & Inventory Systems – Proficiency in systems like Microsoft Dynamics.
- Auditing – Conducting cycle counts and audits to minimize shrinkage and ensure compliance.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree: AND 3-5 years related experience in supply chain/warehouse/inventory control related positions
- Experience supervising, leading and developing a team of individuals
- Exposure to lean manufacturing principals and tools, and an ability to apply that knowledge
- Ability to set goals based on company objectives
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Experience with ERP systems – Microsoft Dynamics/365 preferred
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
