Transportation Project Engineer/Project Manager (PE)

Overview:

CCI is looking for a motivated Project Engineer/Project Manager (PE) to join our Traffic/Transportation Engineering team.  This person will serve as a Project Engineer and/or Project Manager on transportation engineering projects that may include roadway design, multimodal design, traffic design, transportation planning, and traffic operations and safety.  

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the engineer of record on transportation engineering projects. 
• Management of transportation engineering projects. 
• Preparation of scopes of work and project budgets. 
• Mentorship of a team of engineers/designers. 
• Client interfacing/coordination.

Required Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university. 
• Five (5) years of experience working on transportation engineering projects. 
• P.E. registration in Tennessee, or the ability to obtain within one (1) year. 
• Proficiency in MicroStation or Open Roads Designer. 
• Work onsite in our Knoxville office. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Experience in managing transportation engineering projects. 
• Experience in preparing scopes of work and budgets.
