The Talent Management Intern will play a key role in developing tools and frameworks that support employee development and career progression. This includes assisting with the creation of skills matrices, progression ladders, and competencies for various roles, all of which align with Total Rewards initiatives. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in talent management and organizational development.

  • Assist in developing skills matrices for key roles, defining technical skills and competencies required at each level.
  • Support the creation of progression ladders, aligning career paths with organizational goals.
  • Partner with Total Rewards to integrate skills matrices into job descriptions and standardize role expectations.
  • Collaborate with team members to identify critical skills and competencies for talent development.
  • Contribute to ad hoc projects supporting HR and organizational development goals.

Education:

  • Junior or Senior pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or a related field.

Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Attention to detail and the ability to synthesize complex information into practical tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Working Conditions and Physical Effort:

  • Work involves light exposure to unusual elements, such as dirt, dust, fumes, extreme temperatures, humidity, darkness, and/or noise.
  • Moderate physical effort required, such as standing, sitting, and walking in and around the office; the ability to lift up to 25 pounds; reaching, climbing, and kneeling as needed; utilizing fine dexterity, the ability to see, hear, and communicate with associates as well as others by using professional etiquette.
  • Personal protective equipment, as defined by C.H. Guenther and Son, will be provided.
