Creek Science Camp is not your average summer camp. We have staff
and campers from all over the world who all share the same passion
for science, nature and animals.Â
Cub
Creek Science Camp is a residential summer camp for boys and girls
ages 7 to 17. We are dedicated to providing an unforgettable and
unique summer camp experience, but above all else, we strive to help
our campers gain self-confidence, discover who they are, and make
lasting friendships!

Requirements
Responsible for facilitating early-bird, evening, and night-owl activities as well as other special celebrations such as camper birthdays. The Special Events Coordinator promotes activities to staff and campers, and works with support staff to create magic moments for campers.Â
Key
Responsibilities:
•    Â
Organize and facilitate a weekly schedule of special events including evening activities, early-bird, and night-owl activities
•    Â
Coordinate with kitchen, photography, and cabin teams to celebrate camper and staff birthdays
•    Â
Lead
cabin activities, songs, and games that are engaging and age
appropriate
•    Â
Provide
emotional and behavioral support to campers as needed by following
behavior management techniques as outlined in the staff manual and
during training
•    Â
Keep program areas clean and supplies well maintained
•    Â
Ensure
the safety of all campers when participating in camp
activities
Â
Required
Experience and Skills:
•    Â
Completed
at least 1 year of college education
•    Â
A
desire to positively impact the life of a child and willingness to
put the needs of campers first
•    Â
Have
a passion for science, animals and childhood development
•    Â
Able
to effectively communicate ideas, and instructions in a constructive
manner
•    Â
Self-motivated
and able to work on tasks and assigned goals with minimal
supervision
•    Â
Be
willing to learn new concepts and skills
•    Â
Able
to work in a team and both give and take direction from
others
•    Â
Willingness
to adhere to camp’s code of conduct, rules and policies

Benefits
Starting
pay $4000 for 12 week summer. Additional $100 credit in camp
store for snacks and supplies. Housing, meals, and laundry
included. Weekend work is required, this position requires
availability to work on-site 7 days a week for the contract
period. 2-hour break provided each day, and 1 scheduled day off
each week. Additional leadership training and certifications
are available to the right candidates, including high ropes course
and lifeguard certifications.
