Position Specific Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
- Assist multiple law professors with course management, research, document preparation, scheduling, and event coordination.
- Provide Brightspace support to law school faculty, students, and staff. Update and manage Brightspace/D2L (LMS) course pages each semester. Update faculty web pages and academic program web pages using Terminal Four (CMS) or the most recent web publishing tool that the law school provides.
- Coordinate meetings, reserve rooms, arrange catering, and prepare materials for faculty committees and events.
- Support financial-related tasks in Workday, including processing invoices, expense reports, and reconciling expenses, purchases, and reimbursements per budget and university policy.
- Assist faculty and students with travel arrangements, including booking accommodations, and processing travel reimbursements.
- Conduct research, analyze administrative issues, and apply university policies to resolve problems.
- Assist faculty with technology needs, troubleshooting issues, coordinating support and training as needed.
- Manage confidential information with discretion and provide high-level administrative support in a demanding environment.
- Work both independently and in collaboration with other team members and campus departments to execute tasks in a fast-paced work environment.
- Serves as a resource for other faculty needs and performs additional related duties as assigned.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required
- Typically, a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Incumbent will be expected to continue upgrading knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to keep abreast of regulation/policy changes and changing technologies.
- Minimum four years of administrative support experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Adobe. Demonstrated computer competency with the ability to quickly learn and use new software programs with minimal supervision and training.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills for working with diverse groups of faculty, staff, and students as well as external professionals and community members who interact with the law school.
- Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills. Demonstrated ability to adjust to changing priorities and multiple demands within time constraints and through multiple interruptions.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment, as well as independently.
- Knowledge of LexisNexis, Westlaw, and The Bluebook’s legal citation rules.

Preferred
- Experience collaborating with high-level executives and preferably in higher education or a professional setting.
- Knowledge of legal terminology, compilation of legal briefs, legal memoranda, and research environments.
- Working knowledge of Brightspace online learning platform, Workday HR and Financial System, Drupal and T4 (Content Management Systems).
- Working knowledge of appropriate University and agency policies and procedures.
Working hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; dependent on coverage needs and subject to change.Â

Salary range
$25.19 – $31.49 Salary commensurate with education and experience.
