Senior Accountant

Our client in Gainesville, GA, is hiring for a Senior Accountant to take full financial ownership of one of its four divisions. This role is responsible for general ledger maintenance, financial reporting, and account reconciliations while working closely with leadership to analyze financial performance. The ideal candidate is adaptable, detail-oriented, and eager to grow in a dynamic, high-growth environment. This is a 100% in-office position.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee financial operations for a division, including revenue, COGS, and expense tracking.
• Maintain the general ledger, reconcile accounts, and prepare trial balances.
• Assist with financial statement preparation, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Support month-end close processes, journal entries, accruals, and audit preparation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 4-8 years of accounting experience with GL, trial balance, and reconciliation expertise.
• Proficiency in accounting software (NetSuite preferred) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to adapt to growth and change.
