RN Travel contract Oregon!

Professional Response Agency is currently hiring RN for Long Term Care facility in Oregon.

Responsibilities:
– Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring vital signs.
– Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
– Document patient information, including medical history, symptoms, and treatment plans, in the electronic health record system
– Assist with sterile processing of medical equipment and supplies.
– Coordinate discharge planning and provide patient education on post-discharge care.
– Perform specialized procedures such as mammography, ostomy care, medical imaging, gastric lavage, and family planning.
– Safely lift and transfer patients as needed.
– Coordinate durable medical equipment (DME) needs for patients.

Requirements:
– Valid registered nurse (RN) license in the state of Oregon.
– Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
– Minimum 1 year of nursing experience in a clinical setting.
– Proficiency in using electronic health record systems (e.g., eClinicalWorks).
– Knowledge of sterile processing techniques and infection control practices.
– Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
