Position OverviewÂ
Reporting to the IWO Director, the Operations Manager will manage client and employee relationships. In this role, the IWO Ops Manager will manage the overall operation at client site(s) and be responsible for the effective and successful management of labor, productivity, engagement, quality control, and overall client relationships.  The IWO Ops Manager’s duties and responsibilities will include interviewing, onboarding, and hiring; training new and existing employees; planning, assigning, and directing work in conjunction with client management; authoring and discussing with employee’s performance appraisals; addressing employee performance and corrective action plans; and employee motivation and reward initiatives.Â
Hours
Train on 1st Shift for 30 days then move to 3rd Shift
3rd Shift hours 7:30pm-4:30am 2days a week and 11pm-7am 3 days a week
1st Shift – Monday – Friday 8am-5:30pmÂ
Salary range $60,000 – $70,000 per year.
Job ResponsibilitiesÂ
- Management and support of open requisitions
- Qualification and placement of candidates to open requisitionsÂ
- Support coordination of orientation for new hiresÂ
- Management of Active Headcount
- Perform new hire backgrounds, drug screens, onboarding timely and effectivelyÂ
- Support payroll hours submission
- Perform/Assist in employee terminations
- Serve as the main contact for hiring managers, client HR, and employeesÂ
- Work closely with client managers to find solutions for recruiting/retention issuesÂ
- Evaluate staffing strategy and plansÂ
- Coaching/Counseling and MentoringÂ
- Performance ReviewsÂ
- Attendance TrackingÂ
- Manage client employee relations investigations, providing support, documentation, and guidanceÂ
- Other duties as needed or assignedÂ
Job RequirementsÂ
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experienceÂ
- 1-3 years’ manufacturing and/or logistics operational experience
- Recruiting experience is a plus Â
- 1-3 years’ prior operations experience in manufacturing or distribution center environmentÂ
- Proficient in Microsoft Office productsÂ
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skillsÂ
- Strong communication skillsÂ
