About the role

Just as Coalition is redefining the possible for cyber insurance & security, the role will drive our tech stack and operations into the future. While we’ve built a strong foundation of tech and processes supporting our $1b+ cyber insurance practice, you’ll have the unique opportunity, and mandate, to drive innovation with AI and integrate our platforms under a CDP. You will also inherit a talented team of campaign operations and integration managers operating at a high level. Lastly, you will drive and scale the lead management capabilities underpinning our nascent cybersecurity SaaS business. 

The ideal candidate will have domain experience in building out system architecture across marketing automation, CRM and other 1st and 3rd party platform and tool integrations. Experience with lead lifecycle management, lead source and attribution schemes and instrumenting data for clean reporting is also a must. Responsibilities

  • Define the Marketing Operations roadmap, lead adoption, and review  operational processes to drive accountability for Coalition’s overall go-to-market success
  • Own Coalition’s marketing tech stack; manage the strategy, evaluation, strategic implementation, and maintenance of tools and technologies. Marketo and SFDC experience required.
  • Lead a marketing ops team that is passionate about high quality results and collaborates cross-functionally with business and sales operations. 
  • Monitor and maintain data integrity and health within marketing systems of record. Manage, grow, and audit marketing database to power analytics, contact and account augmentation, and drive targeting and segmentation work
  • Support the execution of marketing campaigns by driving coordination across various marketing functions. Own the systems and processes related to Coalition’s buyer’s journey through campaign management. 
  • Define lead management and scoring criteria and operationalize the process through marketing automation systems. Collaborate with Marketing and Sales Operations to ensure an efficient and comprehensive lead routing process
  • Oversee the evolution of measurement framework to measure marketing effectiveness, campaign execution, and spend allocation decisions. Work with cross-organization teams to develop analytics and build visibility across program performance

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree is required
  • 7+ years of marketing operations experience at a fast-growing company
  • 2+ years of management experience
  • Experience operating marketing automation systems (e.g. Marketo), with a strong understanding of downstream integration with CRM (i.e. Salesforce), plus other tools
  • Proficiency in data analysis/visualization tools (Looker) is a plus
  • Fundamental interest in the operational underpinnings of marketing activities such as digital marketing, email marketing
  • Excellent project management and communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills and business acumen
  • Proficiency in analyzing, setting priorities, and solving complex problems effectively
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Outstanding work ethic and sense of ownership and accountability
  • Obsessive attention to detail
  • Comfort with change in a fast-paced startup environment

Compensation

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The US base salary for this position ranges from $150,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $180,000/year in our highest geographic market. Consistent with applicable laws, an employee’s pay within this range is based on a number of factors, which include but are not limited to relevant education, skills, job-related knowledge, qualifications, work experience, credentials, and/or geographic location.
