Coordinates and implements programs to promote family safety and well-being and provides support for social determinants that interfere with health and safety outcomes.

Essential Functions:

  • Partners with schools and other community organizations to identify needs in evidence-based health programing and/or expanding existing evidenced-based programs.
  • Develop and provide educational programs and services for students, families, NCH staff, school district staff, community members, and larger audiences through local, regional, and national participation in a variety of settings.
  • Assists in resource identification to support program implementation and maintenance.
  • Participate in development and delivery of education, research, and continuous quality improvement activities focused on the education needs of children.
  • Leads planning and implementation of school-focused interventions.

Education Requirement:

Bachelor’s Degree is required, Masters preferred.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.

Experience:

  • Ten years of experience working with children of all ages, required.
  • Experience in advocacy, school settings, research, and program development, required.
