Internship Program – Building exciting new startups!

Why this role exists

The intern role is essential in supporting Mahway’s R&D team in creating new startups. You will assist with market research, sourcing, and creating pitch decks for the Investment Committee. You will help build a bench of vetted Portfolio Company ideas and contribute to various high-impact projects across Mahway.

Required Experience

• Current student at a 4-year university

• Able to commit at least 20 hours per week during the school year

• Able to commit at least 3 months, preferably 6 months, to an internship

• Remote, with a preference for the Los Angeles area

• Passion for entrepreneurship, tech, and startups

Traits

• You are smart and hungry to learn about tech, startups, and entrepreneurship

• You have high emotional and workplace intelligence

• You throw yourself into any challenge, saying “Yes” to projects and opportunities

• You are organized and communicate clearly

Bonus if…

• You can conduct market research (market size, competitive landscape, etc.)

• You have experience building slideshows/decks in Google Slides

• You are familiar with productivity tools like Notion

• You have participated in a relevant club or organization

Outcomes

• You will assist with market research and sourcing potential leads

• You will conduct outbound efforts for discovery calls

• You will build decks for Mahway’s Investment Committee

• You will perform ad hoc tasks and projects as needed
