JOB TITLE: Human Resources Generalist – Training & Recruitment

DEPARTMENT: 3033 – Admin Mgmt. – Human Resources

REPORT TO: Assistant General Manager

POSITION TYPE: Full-Time, Exempt

LOCATION: Edwardsville, KS (Onsite)

JOB OVERVIEW

The role of the Human Resources Generalist – Recruiting and Training will be responsible for full life cycle recruiting of staff which includes attracting, screening, and assisting in the selection process of participants for future growth of the company. They are also responsible for the continued development and tracking of all training within Earp Distribution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source, attract, and recruit top-tier candidates for various roles
  • Conduct interviews and manage the full recruitment lifecycle
  • Utilize various recruitment channels and platforms to actively source potential candidates, including job boards, social media, professional networks, and industry-specific platforms.
  • Build strong relationships with hiring managers and candidates
  • Ensure a smooth and positive candidate experience from start to finish
  • Collaborate with team members to improve recruitment processes
  • Provide insights and updates on recruitment trends and market conditions
  • Develops unique training programs to fulfill workers specific needs to maintain or improve job skills. Creates and/or acquires training procedure manuals, guides, and course materials.
  • Learn the payroll system and assist with payroll when needed.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition
  • Demonstrated ability to listen, identify needs, evaluate options, make recommendations and implement solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or as a strong team member.
  • Proficiency with ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems) and other recruiting platforms
  • Proficiency with learning management systems (LMS) and other relevant technology platforms.
  • A passion for connecting people with the right opportunities
  • Bi-lingual a plus
  • SHRM or PHR certification preferred
