Sales and Business Development

  • Looking at new markets (including a newly established e-commerce division), driving revenue growth by building and strengthening customer relationships, developing new markets, and identifying strategic business opportunities.
  • Oversee the outside & inside sales teams to ensure targets are met, customer needs are addressed, and competitive positioning is maintained.
  • Collaborate on pricing strategies, marketing initiatives, and product development to expand the company’s market share.

Financial Performance

  • Manage the company’s P&L, budgets, and financial planning to ensure profitability and sustainability – working closely with owners.
  • Monitor financial performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Work closely with accounting and finance teams to manage cash flow, inventory costs, and capital expenditures effectively.

Team Development

  • Recruit, train, and mentor staff to build a high-performing team that aligns with the company’s values and goals – balancing long-term tenured employees and newly hired employees.
  • Set clear expectations, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance evaluations to support professional growth.
  • Cultivate a positive and inclusive workplace environment that promotes employee satisfaction and retention.

Customer and Vendor Relationships

  • Working with Gen 2 and sales, who are the primary point of contact for key customers and vendors, fostering strong, long-term partnerships.
