Entry Level Machinist – 1st & 2nd Shifts

Entry Level Machinist needed to run manual machines. If you are mechanically inclined (automotive, small engines, etc.) this is a great opportunity to begin a career in machining with true opportunities for growth. Now a part of PCX Aerosystems, our small family business started in 1956 and continues to offer new and unique aerospace applications. This position is available on either 1st (630AM – 3PM) or 2nd (3PM – 1230AM) shift.

• Measuring and marking raw materials needed to manufacture parts
• Setting up equipment required to complete each step of the manufacturing plan
• Operating equipment to carry out each step correctly
• Monitoring the production process and intervening when problems arise
• Inspecting finished parts for flaws and defects
• Must perform routine maintenance on assigned production equipment, i.e., maintain cleanliness of work area and machinery, check machinery fluids and alert maintenance personnel and/or supervisor of malfunctions.
• Operate lifting and handling equipment such as hand truck, pallet jack, or overhead hoist to maneuver in-process or finished components to desired location.
• Ability to quickly learn production equipment.
