The Director of Finance SSC will oversee the management of RBDC shared services, including but not limited to multiple Accounts Receivable functions for US and Canada Distribution Companies.  This senior leadership position is primarily responsible for the delivery of daily world class customer service to the distribution centers.  It will require a close interaction with RBDC LT, RBNA key accounts, field, key customers, RB HQ, HRC vendor, IT, accounting, and technical teams. 

Director of Finance SSC provides mission critical support to the RBDC organization, driving transactional excellence and back-office efficiencies to ensure viable and sustainable business.

Job Description

LEADING RBDC SHARED SERVICES (A/R FOCUSED)

  • Lead the SSC A/R functions, including collections, deductions, and cash application for US and Canada Distribution organizations
  • Recruit, lead, develop and retain a high performing shared services organization
  • Drive focus, responsibility, accountability, and passion across the shared services
  • Maintain industry leading DSO and cash application processes
  • Lead robust A/R reporting and process improvements
  • Manage relationships with Key Account teams
  • Evaluate, recommend, and implement strong internal controls for Red Bull Distribution
  • Assist finance HQ and accounting team with monthly close process and financial reporting
  • Work with the accounting team to ensure timely and accurate reporting of results
  • Manage strategic RBDC projects, initiatives, and process automation
  • Support the call center and work together on strategic projects to enhance their capabilities
  • Lead a highly engaged organization in alignment with the Red Bull leadership code

BACK OFFICE SERVICE DELIVERY

  • Deliver world class service to all relevant Red Bull stakeholders in terms of quality, KPI’s and efficiency
  • Build a constantly strengthen internal and external customer service culture at the SSC
  • Assist finance headquarters and accounting team with monthly close process and financial reporting
  • Work cross functionally with Operations and Sales to support the business and drive transactional accuracy and efficiencies
  • Work with the Director of Finance & Controlling to ensure accuracy of master data, efficiency and effectiveness of reporting processes
  • Work with RAS vendor and technical teams to improve stability and drive needed enhancements
  • Support new launches and expansions as needed
  • Perform ad hoc reporting as needed

KEY RESULTS AND DELIVERABLES (WHAT DOES SUCCESS LOOK LIKE)

  • Lead, develop and maintain a highly competent and efficient team
  • Provide effective and actionable reporting of shared services processes via metrics and KPI’s
  • Ensure timely collection of RBDC cash and high level of customer satisfaction
  • Recommend improvements to systems and processes
  • Drive shared services projects to completion
  • Establish strong working relationships with HQ finance, accounting and field distribution teams
  • Proactively provide analysis and insight into monthly results.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Finance or Accounting from an accredited college or university
  • At least 7 years of finance/accounting experience, preferably in the CPG/DSD industry
  • At least 4 years of people management experience with proven track record of excellence
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Must be able to manage significant amounts of data to be analyzed
  • Experience with High Radius or similar Collections management software
  • Experience with RPA and process efficiency tools
  • Experience of independently managing projects and delivering results on-time, accurately and successfully
  • Strong communication skills; ability to interact with all levels of management and persuasively present financial issues to non-finance personnel
  • Strongly analytical skills and adept at identifying trends and variances
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Preferred education qualifications: CPA or MBA

Additional Information

This position is open to U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents, or individuals currently authorized to work in the United States on a valid visa.

The base salary range for this position is  $180,500 to $199,500 + cash incentives. Actual salary offers may vary based on work experience. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified.
