Data Scientist

• Maintains, improves, cleans, and manipulates data in the business’s
  operational and analytical databases. 
• Works with software engineers and data analytics team in order to
  understand and aid in the implementation of database requirements, analyze
  performance, and troubleshoot any existent issues. 
• Provides support in database design, data flow and analysis activities. 
• Defines and
  builds the data pipeline that will enable faster, better, data-information
  decision making within the business.
• Develops customized data solutions that
  align to enterprise strategy and related business architecture. 
• Adheres to data architecture principles and
  plans for master data management and data governance, and create models of data
  that enable the implementation of the intended data architecture. 
• Performs Software Architecture functions as
  required. 
• Analyzes client operations,
  applications, programming, client objectives and current systems.
• Supports
  activities that include but are not limited to; code development, testing,
  responding to user questions, and assisting the resolution of issues.
• Applies data mining techniques,
  statistical analysis and builds high quality prediction systems integrated
  with products. 
• Automates scoring using
  machine learning techniques.
• Builds recommendation systems. 
• ​Improves and extends the features used by
  existing classifiers.

Education Level: Bachelors

Minimum Years of Experience: 2

Education/Experience
Substitutions: Associate’s degree + 2 years relevant experience or 4
years relevant experience. Professional certification
in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree
