Job Description:
The Business Analyst 3 at the Texas Education Agency (TEA) supports multiple projects aimed at improving outcomes for Texas students. This senior-level role involves eliciting, analyzing, documenting, and managing business and system requirements throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
The Business Analyst acts as the bridge between stakeholders and development teams, ensuring clear communication of project requirements, business process re-engineering, and software process flow improvements. The BA is responsible for creating detailed user stories, use cases, wireframes, and mockups aligned with business analysis and UX best practices.
Upon the establishment of the requirements baseline, the role shifts toward managing requirements specifications and verifying implementation. This includes overseeing post-implementation enhancements and ongoing project support.
