Acenda Integrated Health is recruiting for a Bachelor’s Intern to support the Keeping Families Together Program in Cumberland, New Jersey.

Key Responsibilities:

Daily

  • Check Emails
  • Input time in Cerner and outlook calendar
  • Paperwork (listed on Case Tracking form) and Notes within timeframes
  • Review Cerner for rejected notes in message center, complete corrections within 5 business days

Weekly

  • Workday schedule to be completed Monday by 5pm
  • Individual Supervision
  • Internship Group Supervision (if necessary)
  • Calls and sessions with clients- Contact clients weekly to check in
  • Complete Missed Session reports in the case of no shows and cancelled sessions.
  • Plan and facilitate one group per month. Attend and support all other weekly groups.
  • Shadow therapist and/or case manager as time permits.
  • Clinical caseload of 2-3 families

Monthly

  • Program Staff Meetings/County meetings
  • Scan all documents by the second Tuesday of the month
  • Mileage Reimbursement Form- completed weekly or month as directed
  • Attend Group Supervisions
  • Calls to DCPP workers (if open)
  • Collaborate with KFT Case Manager about Arizona summary report.
  • Keep Service/Treatment Plans up to date
  • Staff should continue to update plans and be prepared for sessions even if clients miss
  • Schedule and notify clients that a review is upcoming
  • Write monthly calendar for counties

Requirements:

  • Flexible schedule
  • Ability to work independently
  • Enrolled in Bachelor’s degree program (social work, psychology, or mental health counseling preferred)
  • Meet all agency required hiring procedures and background checks as required
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license, use of an insured vehicle and an acceptable driving record
