Position Overview:
We’re seeking an experienced A/R Manager of Billing & Collections Supervisor to lead our Accounts Receivable team. You’ll oversee daily operations related to billing, collections, and insurance claims follow-up. Your mission will be to improve revenue cycle accuracy, ensure compliance with best practices, and support month-end and year-end closings. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor the A/R team in best practices for billing, collections, and denial management.
• Oversee and optimize billing processes, insurance claim follow-up, and outstanding receivables to ensure accurate revenue cycle management.
• Collaborate with senior management to maintain favorable aging statistics and financial accuracy.
• Innovate and identify process improvements to streamline workflows and improve team performance.
• Manage relationships with external payors and vendors in credit and collections operations.
• Provide timely and accurate results during monthly and quarterly financial closes.
• Train and develop team members, ensuring effective onboarding, coaching, and performance evaluations.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of management or lead role experience in Medical Billing & Collections.
• Comprehensive knowledge of EOBs, ICD-9, CPT codes, and accounts receivable processes.
• Familiarity with billing and collections regulations for federal, state, and third-party payers.
• Experience with Worker’s Compensation, Commercial, and HMO insurance.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Radiology/MRI billing experience is a plus.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or a combination of equivalent education and 5 years of related experience.

Tech Skills:

• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Familiarity with Abbadox Careflow RIS, Imagine billing software, or similar platforms.
